Andrew Stern and Bob Bradshaw
Eclectic guitarist Andrew Stern stays busy covering a wide variety of musical territory around Boston. As a leader and sideman, his energetic playing and diverse tonal palette have opened many interesting musical doors. Andrew leads his rock band “Old Soldiers”, his instrumental quartet “Telescope”, and “AST” (Andrew Stern Trio), his free-avant-rubato-rock outfit. As a sideman, he holds the weekly guitar chair in Gill Aharon’s far-reaching “trio” (usually a quartet or more) which plays every week at Inman Square’s Lily Pad, as well as avant-garde klezmer renegades, Naftule’s Dream and Brian Carpenter and the Confessions.
